Kildalkey Community Initiative/ Community Alert

A combined meeting of Kildalkey Community Initiative / Commumnity Alert takes place on Tuesday 22nd February 2011 at 8.00pm in the usual place.

The purpose is to draw up a programme for 2011. Both bodiea are non political, non sectarian with the primary objective of improving the quality of life and enjoyment in our community and adjoining areas.


New Legal Speed Limits

Please observe speed limit through our villageThe Community is asked to take note of the reduction in the legal speed limit through our Village
from 60kmph to 50kmph.

When approaching the Village please reduce your speed to 50kmph.

Notice of Open Meeting

An Open meeting for the entire community of Kildalkey will be held in Kildalkey Hall on Tuesday 17th November, 2009 at 8:30pm.
Purpose of the meeting is to provide the community with an opportunity to engage with our Community Garda and the the Crime Prevention Officer for Meath.

Wednesday 6th May 2009 in the Hall at 08:30pm.

We are concerned at reports of thefts of vehicles in the area. We are also concerned that unauthorised persons are entering private property in broad daylight. In your own interest, care should be taken not to leave your car keys in your vehicle when parked outside you home.

Should something suspicious come to your notice that does not require immediate Garda attendance, please call Ballivor GS 046-9546002. If phone unattended please leave a message and then ring Trim GS 046-9431222

Please be advised to be observant in watching your home heating fuel tank and that of your neighbours. There is a gang of criminals removing fuel in broad daylight from fuel tanks.
If you see anything suspicious please ring the Community Alert PRO 9435201 with a description of the vehicle and reg. number.
